IUD - Genetic Diseases: Transdisciplinary Approach

The program of the Inter-University Diploma (IUD) Genetic Diseases: Transdisciplinary Approach for the year 2022 / 2023 is open for registration.

The objectives of this Human and Social Sciences IVDU are (1) to transmit knowledge about genetics, (2) to make the students aware of the issues involved in genetic testing, (3) to show the variability of patient care and support systems, (4) to conduct interdisciplinary reflection on clinical situations encountered in the trainees' practice, (5) know how to explain the modes of transmission of diseases, (6) know the main legal and ethical principles related to the practice of genetic testing, (7) know how to distinguish between diagnostic genetic tests and pre-symptomatic tests, and (8) be able to conduct an interdisciplinary reflection on a clinical situation.

This IUD is intended for doctors, medical and life science students, genetic counselors, clinical research associates, psychologists, professionals in the medico-social sector, health care referents, and members of family associations.
