"If Madame Macron regrets not being able to respond favorably to your request due to a particularly constrained agenda, you can nevertheless be sure of the attention she pays to the cause of rare diseases. She is therefore very pleased with the commitment of the Rare Diseases Foundation to the service of people affected by rare diseases.
The Government is determined to carry out, through concrete measures, a proactive and supportive policy involving a strong mobilization of all the partners concerned. It is in this context that the 3rd National Plan for Rare Diseases 2018-2022 was launched, intended to reduce diagnostic wandering and deadlock, as well as to promote the development of new treatments and rapid access for patients to therapeutic innovations that are authorized or in the process of being authorized."
