The World Service Medal for Dr. Maurel, Ambassador of the Foundation

During the transfer of power of the Kiwanis France-Monaco District, which took place in Issoire on September 24 and 25, Dr. Patrick Maurel received the World Service Medal from Kiwanis International Governor Arthur Riley (USA) and Past-Governor Daniel Vigneron (Luxembourg). This medal recognizes his commitment to Kiwanis for the support of families of children with rare diseases and to research on treatments for these diseases.

Previous recipients of the World Service Medal include Mother Teresa, actors and humanitarians Roger Moore and Audrey Hepburn, First Ladies Nancy Reagan and Rosalynn Carter, and many others.
