Results of the Call for Proposals

Eight winning projects were selected in the framework of the FMR's AAP "Development of experimental models for rare diseases":

- Dr. Alice Lepelley, Imagine Institute of Genetic Diseases, for her project "Characterisation of the role of IFN signalling in neural cells in ATAD3A disease",

- Dr Florian Lesage, Institute of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology (IPMC) of Nice, for his project "Mouse models of human Birk Barel syndrome",

- Dr Sarah Beck Cormier, Nantes University, for her project "Generation of a new mouse model for the rare PFBC disease",

- Justine Masson, Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, for her project " Cortical and cerebellar organoids, new models to study a rare neurodevelopmental disease caused by mutations in the YIF1B gene ",

- David Hicks, Institute of Neurosciences Strasbourg (INCI), for his project "Creation of a diurnal rodent model of Stargardts Disease STGD1",

- Dr Stéphanie Trudel, Institut Toulousain des Maladies Infectieuses et Inflammatoires, for her project "Generation and characterization of iPSCs from Sanfilippo type B patients fibroblast",

- Dr Matthieu Giraud, The Center for Research in Transplantation and Translational Immunology (CR2TI-U1064) of Nantes, for his project " A new rat model of deficient anterior pituitary gland with variable immune deficiency syndrome by mutation of the NFKB2 gene ",

- Dr Anne-Cécile Reymann, IGBMC, Strasbourg, for her project " CRISPR targeted mutagenesis of C. elegans actin: novel insights into the understanding of human non-muscle actinopathies ".
