Blackfan-Diamond anemia is a rare ribosomal disease characterized by an inability to produce red blood cells. Patients and their families have been grouped together for 25 years in an association (AFMBD: www.afmbd.org). In 2020, the Association launches its first call for projects. Any clinical or preclinical research project on Blackfan-Diamond anemia is eligible provided that it focuses on the research and development of new treatments for the disease or on the significant improvement of existing treatments.
