The Lycée Joffre in Montpellier played host to a race like no other, in an atmosphere as festive as it was committed.
For an entire day, the school vibrated to the rhythm of several hundred students from kindergarten to high school, united around a common goal: to support the Fondation Maladies Rares.
With the participation of teaching staff, families, Laurent Laval and Kiwanis International, this initiative brought together an entire school community around the values of solidarity, generosity and inclusion. At the starting line, there were no stopwatches or rankings: here, the impetus of the heart took center stage.
Thanks to the exemplary mobilization of all participants, over €2,500 was raised to advance scientific research and improve the daily lives of people affected by rare diseases. Proof that civic commitment can begin at an early age, and that every step counts in advancing the cause.
Our sincere thanks go to Lycée Joffre for this wonderful initiative, to Laurent Laval for his unfailing involvement, to Kiwanis International for its perpetual support, and of course to all the young runners, whose energy and generosity inspire us.
Together, they proved that there's no age limit to moving the boundaries.
Thank you for this wave of solidarity!
