It was in a friendly but resolutely committed atmosphere that the IRCEM Group Corporate Foundation (FE-IRCEM) held its latest Board of Directors meeting on our premises, at the Plateforme Maladies Rares. The event concluded with the official presentation of cheques to three winning projects from our first joint call for projects, launched in 2024.

A sustainable partnership with a strong social impact
FE-IRCEM has been supporting the Fondation Maladies Rares since 2015. In almost ten years, more than 25 projects have benefited from its support, for a cumulative financial commitment of nearly 1.5 million euros.
This partnership is guided by a shared ambition: to make a real difference to the quality of life of people suffering from rare diseases, especially young patients and their families. FE-IRCEM stands out for its determination to support projects with a strong social dimension, alongside scientific and medical approaches.
Three award-winning projects to be showcased in 2025
Launched in 2025 with the Fondation Maladies Rares, the first joint call for projects aimed to support innovative and immediately applicable initiatives to improve the daily lives of children with rare diseases. Three projects were selected and supported by FE-IRCEM:
- Université Paris Cité - Dr Nathalie Angeard
Development of a digital social perspective-taking training tool for adolescents with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. - Université de Lorraine - Pr Anne-Sophie Bonnet
Cantilever bonded bridges as an innovative dental solution for children with premolar agenesis. - CHU de Toulouse / RESTORE - Pr Thomas Edouard
Creation of an adapted physical activity program dedicated to young people with Marfan syndrome, to promote their well-being and inclusion.
These projects are a perfect illustration of FE-IRCEM's philosophy of action: to support social innovations that meet concrete needs, here and now.

A second call for projects has already been launched
Encouraged by the success of this first edition, FE-IRCEM and the Fondation Maladies Rares launched a second joint call for projects in 2025, which has just closed.
This new edition will continue the momentum, with the aim of bringing out other innovative solutions for children affected by a rare disease and their families.
A partnership of trust and future
The fact that the FE-IRCEM Board of Directors meets in our offices symbolizes the strength of the bond forged over the years. This partnership is more than just financial support: it's a shared commitment, based on our complementary expertise and a shared vision of solidarity, innovation and inclusion.
Thanks to FE-IRCEM!
We warmly thank FE-IRCEM for their loyalty since 2015, their active support for over 25 projects, and their enduring commitment to the cause of rare diseases.
Thanks to them, ideas become reality, families find answers, and children benefit from solutions designed with them in mind.
