Agnès Bloch-Zupan is Professor of Oral Biology at the Faculty of Dental Surgery, University of Strasbourg. She coordinates the Reference Center for Rare Oral and Dental Diseases, CRMR O-RARES at Strasbourg University Hospitals, and the O-Rares network of affiliated French constituent and competence centers. She supervises clinical research projects and is Scientific Director of the D(4)/phenodent database (www.phenodent.org) and the NGS GenoDENT genetic diagnostic tool.

E-Health referent and regional manager at the Fondation Maladies Rares
With an engineering background (ISA Lille, IRC Montpellier SupAgro) specializing in international development, Gaëlle decided to put her skills to work for rare disease research in 2015 by joining the AFM Téléthon, then the Fondation Maladies Rares. She supports e-health projects in rare diseases via calls for projects and co-design workshops.

Director of the Foundation For Rare Diseases
Daniel Scherman is Director of Exceptional Class Research at the CNRS, a graduate of the École Polytechnique and a Doctor of Science. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix "Emilia Valori" from the Académie des Sciences in 2017, and is a member of the European Academy of Sciences. His awards include the CNRS Silver Medal, the Neurobiology Prize of the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale and several others. He has been Director of the Centre de Recherche Pharmaceutique de Paris and Chairman of several scientific committees. Scherman is also founder and director of the Unité de Technologies Chimiques et Biologiques pour la Santé (Chemical and Biological Technologies for Health Unit). He has contributed to numerous advances in gene therapy and led clinical trials for AMD.
