After many months of work, we are pleased to announce the launch of the "Digital tools 4 Rare Diseases (DT4RD)" project. This multinational consortium aims to develop non-invasive tools to measure the mobility of patients with rare diseases, as a result of a joint call for projects by the European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases (EJ PRD) and the Rare Diseases Foundation. For this purpose, a specific digital platform will be developed and tested in two clinical centers in Paris and Newcastle.
Aparito, the Paris Institute of Myology, the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre at Newcastle University, Yumen Bionics, Metabolic Support UK, as well as CSL Behring and Chiesi Pharmaceuticals, which are sponsors of the project, will work together over the next three years to bring it to fruition.
