We are delighted to announce the winners of the "Pathophysiology of osteogenesis imperfecta" Call for Projects. Pathophysiology of osteogenesis imperfecta "launched jointly by VMOV France and the Fondation Maladies Rares! The aim of this call was to encourage research into osteogenesis imperfecta syndrome.
Congratulations to the winners, Prof. Antonella Forlino, University Professor at the University of Pavia, for her project entitled "Dissecting the role of calcium on collagen secretion in osteogenesis imperfecta", and Dr. Clara Isabel Rodriguez, researcher at the Osakidetza-Basque Health Service, for her project entitled "Development of an effective advanced therapy based on extracellular vesicles".
These projects will benefit from funding of around 150,000 euros each, thanks to the ongoing commitment of the VMOV France association and the support of the Fondation Maladies Rares.
