We thank Dr. Fabrice Lejeune, winner of the 2013 Screening call for projects for his testimony.
Dr. Fabrice Lejeune, an Inserm researcher in the CANcer Heterogeneity, Plasticity and Resistance to THERapies laboratory (Inserm/CNRS/University of Lille/Pasteur Institute of Lille/Lille University Hospital) is working with his team on one of the most promising avenues for correcting DNA mutations that are the cause of very serious genetic diseases such as certain types of cystic fibrosis or myopathies. His approach is based on an astonishing discovery, the identification of a novel efficacy from a very common mushroom of our forests, the Lepista Inversa.
